A variety of methods of casting ballots is covered, including using beans and corn kernels. Other fun facts help keep the information from being too dry; the high interest factor is demonstrated with unusual information, such as the fact that there have been animals "elected" as mayor in several U.S. towns. The cartoon speech bubbles, often with current references such as Arnold Schwarzenegger referring to himself as the "govenator," provide comic relief for the amount of factoids packed into this title.
