      Crucial MX500 SSD: Top of it's class!

      Pros: Top quality, safe and fast. 5 year warranty. Cons: none Crucial belongs to the Micron family which has been in the memory business since 1978 and has been recognized throughout the years for delivering top quality memories. I've been using a Crucial SSD in my laptop for 5 years now and it just flies compared to any hard drive. Within Crucial offerings, the BX line is good, the MX line is just better. I've had bad experiences with some other brands. Now, I stick with Crucial MX (Samsung EVO might be a good alternative but is usually more expensive).

      great replacement for any hard drive

      I have just replaced an aging 1TB WD Blue hard drive on a 5yo HP Pavilion Slimline desktop with this drive. Once Windows 10 was installed, the sluggishness of the old drive was long gone. Just about everything is faster with this drive. This SSD will give new life to an aging desktop or laptop without requiring you to buy a brand new computer. Just get it and install it correctly for best results.

      Great value for it's price it's what can I say for this little guy, especially for my old laptop that needed so bad a ssd. Definitively I'll buy another one of this brand but bigger!

      Works as Expected

      So far so good, time will tell. I have used several brand SSD drives and all have worked well so I dont suspect I will have trouble with this unit.Other reviewers reported best results with Crucial memory products.

      Better price than some of the leading brands

      Crucial has been a great product for some time, and it has beaten Intel and Western Digital not only in pricing, but manufacturer warranty and product integrity. I've used an Intel SSD in the past, and the warranty is only 3 years versus Crucial's 5 year warranty, and the price for the Intel SSD at the time was $229 (and is now listed as a higher price. This Crucial SSD was listed at $124.95. Definitely a better deal, and the overall quality of this product has better ratings than the Intel unit. The rest speaks for itself.
