    +30% performance vs 120watt adapter on 8770w

    got 120w adapter on a used 8770w - w/k3000m vid card. replaced with this for better graphical performance . Can now play Witcher 3 on mid/high settings smoothly enough to be enjoyable.

    The biggest laptop power brick you'll ever find.

    I'm not joking. This will be the biggest laptop AC adapter you'll ever come across. It really puts the "brick" in "power brick". It measures 8"x4"x1.5", or about the size of a small computer tablet... 10 of them stacked together. Do I recommend it, ebay asks? Yes, since it's HP OEM and you'll probably need one for your laptop if you lost the original. And at 230W, I don't think I would trust a third party/no name generic power adapter as I don't really like unplanned and unattended fires. But if there's anything even a bit more compact, I would recommend that over this. The EliteBook 8760w, a laptop this is compatible with, is beautifully designed. HP really should have spent a few moments designing this too. Apple and Microsoft Surface chargers are leagues ahead. I mean, ...

    Great power supply for modding my pc.
