Very fun old time mystery/thriller. Back in the day film fanatics would be thrilled to discover films like this on late nite tv. A murder is committed at an isolated mansion. The suspects are prevented from escaping by a landslide, and the police are working to get through. A gangster, with his own reasons for being there, must race the clock to solve the murder before the police arrive and blame him! And don't forget the scary face that is making the rounds tormenting the suspects! Fast-paced, funny, and with plenty of thrills, this is a fun little 1930's gem. Watch at midnight on a stormy night for maximum effect! Recommended.

Interesting movie-intriging, suspensiful, interesting "special effects" - for movie over 85 years old.
I really like it - saw it on television over 30 years ago - and I still remember how enjoyable the movie was at that time.
