  • Great product

This stuff works great , easy to apply with no dripping and despite what some say it does not hurt paint. Been using this stuff for a few years on 2008 Sierra and love it. It has many uses other than just cars.

  • Really Penetrates Under The Rust

I heard about this product through a friend. He has his truck underbody sprayed once annually to protect it from the harsh northeastern winter road chemicals. He swears buy it. I have an old truck that was never undercoated and is very rusty underneath. I knew that spraying standard undercoating over this type of surface will not do much. But I liked the idea of spraying it with a fluid penetrant as it would soak into and under all of the rusty surface. Being a do-it-yourselfer, I bought a Fluid Film starter kit that came with a gun, (2) refillable quart bottles that attach to the gun, an application brush and a gallon of Fluid Film. After applying it and giving it time to penetrate, I saw that it had indeed had spread underneath the rusty flakes that laid on top of the metal frame and underneath the undermined paint. It is easy to apply, except that it requires a lot of crawling around under the vehicle to position the gun to direct the spray where you want it to go. I liked it enough to order more...I have other machines that I'd like to protect from rust...lawn tractor, antique cars, etc..

  • Works well as an anti-corrosion coating

We use this for corrosion protection on numerous things including cars and equipment that get used in the salty snow of the northeast. You can definitely tell the difference between the treated equipment and the not so treated equipment. The downside is you have to re-apply once to several times per season on anything that gets a lot of wear (lower truck frames, snow blower chutes, etc). With the proper equipment and technique it is pretty easy to apply. We typically warm the FF in hot water before application and it goes on smoother and easier from the spraygun.

  • Necessary for winter regions

Been using Fluid Film for approximately five years. Greatly reduces salt damage to under body of vehicles. Many other uses as well. Use it on my snowblower and plow blade to reduce ice and snow sticking. Great product and easy to apply with air compressor and gun.

  • It works great!

The only con is that it gets everywhere. Not really a problem if you have a good place to spray it. I learned about this product while working for a company that did snow and Ice removal. Being that salt is used in new Jersey it eats away at all metals. This helps a great amount in the battle against rust! That is the reason I bought it, to protect my new truck.

  • Fluid Film

This is the best stuff I have found to stop rust on my vehicles. I recommend to those who live in areas where salt is used on the road, if you undercoat your car every winter you will have no rust issues,,,especially if you own a Toyota. The only problem I have found is the gallon cans are hard to find over the counter locally.

  • Great stuff!

This stuff is good, old school undercoating. I have a 2004 Honda CRV that I coat every fall. It does a great job of slowing down the rust from the severe Vermont winter.
