The cd is lovely, as the music, according to the artist, is the closest reflection of where she is in music at that time. I have all this artist's albums now. Folky/rock is the direction where the artist is most comfortable. I think she is very underrated and never knew why she never faired better in the UK. I just love the harmonies and the rawness of the album, it is a natural progression from her last album Wild Hope.
I didn't appreciate this album when it was released. However as I've gotten older my music taste have evolved. Of course it was available on I tune and there isn't a vinyl. So when I saw this I had to snap it up.
