A great vacuum, but may be a bit heavy for some folks to push around.
Here is my review in point form: - This is a very good vacuum, but may be a bit heavy for older folks or anybody that might have issues pushing and maneuvering an 18 pound vacuum around. You will get a great workout with this vacuum! - The suction in very good, the bin capacity is also very good and easy to see the contents. - The cord is extra long giving the vacuum a great reach. - The attachments are good the expendable hose is ok with limited reach. - Its not too loud and manageable noise wise. 1/29/2021 Update - So the vac is still working great. Two observations after a few months of use. The extension hose is not very functional. You end up having to fight the vac to get to extend. Also, due to its design, the vac head will not fit under furniture or narrow openings. Maneuvering is also limited as the vac seems to like to go in mostly straight lines or shallow angles. You cant crank it past 35 degrees side to side when vacuuming. Suction is still very strong and it will get your carpet clean. The extra long cord is a nice feature. Hope this helps.

Crazy suction!
So far so good. Takes a bit to put together. Looked brand new though it was refurbished. Definitely has the suction power. Be prepared to empty the canister often.

Dyson Pet 2
I bought a refurbed machine and in general I am very happy with it. It is a little difficult to empty and clean compared to the bag vacuums I have used for years. I have not had it long enough to tell if the refurb is going to be a good choice or not. The suction is amazing though. Much better than any machine I have owned in the past.
