- o***b (1)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseArnold Kayutak was my uncle. His story is tragic. He was sent to Seattle from Wainwright Alaska to treat his tuberculosis in the 1940s. After he was cured, he stayed in Seattle for years carving Alaska items as resident artist in a gift shop. He returned to Wainwright in the 70s. He went subsistance hunting inland from the village and was never seen again. He is the one uncle I never met, so being able to have his work in the family is exciting. I am humbled.Arnold Kayutak Alaskan Inuit Carving Otter (#275752096672)
