    A MUST READ!!

    This SHOULD be a must-read before any new marriage, a divorce/remarriage, death of a spouse and re-marriage,or even a decades-long marriage. We Christians tend to think that asserting your "self" in a marital relationship is "selfish", when in actuality it "harmonizes two whole people becoming one flesh! I wish I had read this book at the beginning of my 47 year marriage; it would have prevented many stresses in our relationship. Great job, John and Henry for "assisting" God in furthering that most intimate God-founded relationship, marriage.

    Right book, it's the older first edition version.

    I ordered boundaries in marriage the new updated version with a new cover. I got the old 1999 version, with the old cover. If you're going to put a book on the site I firmly suggest you let people know exactly what they're getting in the mail. This has happened to me a couple of times now buying books through this website. People seriously misrepresent the books that they are mailing.

    Relationship stretching, wall destructing, root building!

    We have been using this curriculum for a Marriage Ministry Sunday school class. Our only regret is only allowing the 8 weeks for the curriculum. In hindsight, we would have rather taken 16 weeks - one week for a lesson and the following week for further in-depth discussion and dissection. There are many layers to learn - especially when poor habits have become a way of life. Mountains of material! Well worth the climb!

    Good Book for a Healthy Marriage

    It's a good book to help you understand how marriage should be and when there needs to be boundaries, but, just doesn't cover enough about abusive marriages and what the signs are. I may just need a book that's more specific of covert abuse. I do recommend this book though because it does clarify some good basics for a healthy marriage.

    I’ve learned a whole lot through reading this book. We were meant to complement our spouse not complete them.
