    Fits the washer but stresses door and latch

    The product was easy to install on my Kenmore dishwasher, but it appears to be significantly thicker than the OEM one it replaced, making it quite hard to close the door. A lot of force has to be applied to the door for the latch to engage, so I fear that this over stresses the latch and might cause it to break. I'm hoping that over time the seal will compress and exert less stress on the latch and make the door easier to close. I think it would have been better to get the true OEM replacement instead of this one.

    You need exact Model number for accuracy!

    The ad said Whirlpool compatible with my dishwasher. NOT COMPATIBLE! Completely different. Dissapointed.

    Not Whirlpool spec

    That item uses Whirlpool part number but is not Whirlpool specs. Seal was too thick and unplyable, preventing door from closing. I had to pick up the correct seal from a Whirlpool parts dealer.

    Gasket was too thick. Was very difficult to get in the groove in the dishwasher and the door would not close when installed. I purchased a OEM gasket and it fits perfectly.
