    Cheap TFLOPS with loads of RAM

    It works in my scientific computing rig. My only wish is that it came with a standard bracket for a PC chassis. I needed to order one from China, and it will take a month to come in. It's being cooled with a blower fan directed through a 3D printed duct. I'll be adding some heat sinks to the back of the card as well. A couple BIOS changes were needed to enable it. You'll need to disable display sleep in Windows or else it will blue screen every time. It's clearly used based on some scratches and dings on the housing. Not sure how this ever happens.

    best bargain compute card

    arrived quickly and works well. If you plan to use this card on a consumer board, disable CSM + enable above 4g decoding to post. Marked improvements compared to a 1070 for object detection in ArcGIS. Only reason this review is not 5/5, some screws were stripped, missing, or over torqued (no screws for bracket, bent backplate). Nothing quite to the point of damage to the board, but the backplate was deformed after being over tightened and bent down to be in contact with the board at some points, with enough effort to strip out the screws. The above complaints did not render the card inoperable, and for the price (~$250), entirely forgivable. They were merely cosmetic grievances which were easily solved with spare hardware.

    Cooling It is designed for servers, if you want to use it in a workstation, you need to solve its cooling.

    I chose it due to the high amount of memory, for the time being I feel promising, good value for money.

    Perfect card for the ML hobbyist with an old server or a 3D printer

    I knew going in that this card would need some special attention to get working in a regular PC, but it was a fun process. I was able to successfully get it running on an updated motherboard with expanded addressing, some fans of my own choosing, and a 3D printed fan duct. Once I got it all happy (drivers weren't easy, but I knew that), it is now a powerhouse for my ML experiments! Just make sure if you want one, you've done your homework. Learned a lot in the process too!

    Great Value but do your homework first to know how to get it working!

    This card is amazing I'm using it in a windows 10 workstation with AMD processor with integrated GPU. Ensure you have a modern motherboard and processor, I purchased the customer fan and shrowd with the fan plugged into the motherboard which make the fan tolerable.
