I can't say I recommend it for its use because I was not able to use it. Had I known you can't just buy the oem part and plug it right into place with the harness plug-in already being wired for it and in place but only compatible if your vehicle is coded for it, of course I would not have purchased it. It wasn't a large purchase so I dont plan on returning it but next time I know to check for such plug and play options installation was very easy. As you can see all you need to do is pop the parts out of the existing panel and put the in the new. It did fit perfectly and looks and made me feel like a big boy, ready to tow the world!I can't say I recommend it for its use because I was not able to use it. Adding a brake controller to a 14 GMC Sierra
It’s a good value but beware that it can’t be added to your vehicle if it doesn’t already have an existing brake controller. It’s only a replacement if yours has gone bad. GM won’t program it for you.
