It is shipped rolled up and in a smaller box to avoid having to pay truck freight charges. I spent over an hour with a heat gun to get it straightened out and it turned out way better than I suspected. There were a lot of imperfections in the finish so don't expect to just bolt it on and paint it without a lot of prep work.
