Good value
Good quality
Good drill for the money.
This is the low-cost version of Ryobi's brushless drill. One of the biggest differences from the upgraded version is that the other version has 3 clutch speeds, this one only has two. It works great. I would have rathered the three clutch version. That allows you to control the speed on the drill easier.

Great compact drill & Great price
Compared to my other 18V Ryobi drills , this one is a bit smaller in size , has a belt hanger and an LED light to show the work area. The drill is definitely new and comes very quickly and is well packaged. It does feel a bit heavier then another compact model that I have however the size seems smaller. I am very satisfied with this drill and will recommend it to friends. Don't hesitate because of the name , I have all of my original Ryobi kit that I bought in 1999 and they all work great except of course the original blue batteries . I use my cordless tools a lot and even did handyman work for two years with them and have never had any problems.

A drill
My old Ryobi drill finally went half dead, wiggly chuck then lost forward. But it had a good life, and worked hard.will be remembered fondly. Helped build one house + endless other jobs. The new one is better balanced, smaller, more powerful and has a light, half inch chuck, and a belt hook. Ryobi probably is not the brand I would start out with if I were back working in the trade full time, but they are a great value for lighter use.

Ryobi P252 1/2 inch drill driver BRUSHLESS.
Now that Ryobi has upgraded their products with brushless power tools it makes all the difference in the world. In the past, I just used these tools as "throwaway" expensed on a project. Now this new brushless tool seems to be much more well built and performs much better than the old brush tools. Using this drill and also the impact driver drill. both doing well under heavy use so far.

Solid drill
I use my drills quite a bit at work and the ryobi brushless is really stout. More powerful than the previous version and more compact for ease of use. A great drill for half the price of the big M names. Highly recommend these drills/drivers for anyone looking for value.
