AC Infinity Speed Control Power Plug Cord
I had purchased the Speed control to reduce the noise from my 4 X 120 mm Fans running on my 12 x 37 Server Unit Rack, the fans before the installation was very noisy to be inside my apartment, after the installation the fan speeds were reduced as well as the noise, keep in mind that I lowered all the way and when the fans start to spin they will be slow at first. Replacement control also did not work, only made the fan buzz loudly. Communication with the seller was difficult due to lots of computer generated requests for a positive review. I own an All-Analog Recording Studio and our equipment comes mainly from the 80s. It generates a great deal of heat. I have used the AC Infinity fans exclusively in our studio for several years. A quality item. Works very well. Fan is absolutely silent at low speed - even at full speed the fan noise is the level of a loud whisper. Excellent packaging and instructions. Perfect for cooling low voltage electronics like modem/router while still keeping your office silent. The speed control is infinitely variable - I thought it would be just three positions; low, medium and high. This allows you to dial in the noise/cooling level as required. Just wish the fan end plug was removeable/reattachable so cord fan end could pass through electronic devices chassis/bulkhead to reach internal fans. I had to cut plug off, plug onto fan, then route cord backwards from fan through bulkhead to outside of amplifier, then install connectors onto cord where cut, outside the amp.
