I was surprised how affordable this actually was as far as the cost of operating it. Anywhere you have a cell signal this will work whether it be a different state or different town or your own property. I also use it as a security camera when the hunting seasons are over

This is my first Cell phone deer cam. I’m not very impressed with this model. The biggest issues are the photo quality is poor. The lens is constantly fogged up to where the image is not viewable! I have used deer cams since you had to take the film to be developed so I’m aware of how to position to avoid false triggers. This camera has lots of false triggers. I’m going to try SPYPOINT EVO to see if it performs better but I have to give the Link micro a 3 out of 10. Won’t buy another and do not recommend. Additionally the temp reading is way off compared to weather channel app readings of my town. It reads 15 to 20 degrees off Lower.

I bought four of these little guys to go with the four Spypoint LINK-DARK cameras I purchased for my hunting lease (which is 11 hours from my home) and I have been very impressed! Spypoint/GG Telecom did a great job with this camera; it is much smaller than any other cell camera I'm aware of and it works - very well! All four of mine perform flawlessly. They are VERY simple to program from the Spypoint app and in the field, you just attach it to a tree and turn it on. Quality of build is, like the other Spypoint cameras, very good and, believe it or not, it takes very good pictures. Transmitted photos are very good quality and the photos I've downloaded from the micro SD cards have been superb. Overall quality, resolution and color of daytime photos is very good, while nighttime photos are as good as any camera I own. If I had any criticism or recommendations at all, it would be... Never mind. The attached photos are the transmitted versions, not downloaded from the SD card.Read full review

First of all its a battery killer. Onboard batteries drained in a matter of days. Even drains the 12v external battery at a ridiculous rate. I have had mine up since May 2019, and bought the 12v battery in June due the onboard batteries going weekly. I had to replace the Spypoint 12v battery that came with the external case already also. I emailed them several times about it with no response. This week I went out to swap out the 12v battery again and happened to open the camera. Good thing I did because it was FULL OF WATER! Water has been in it a while because there was rust on the contacts of the internal battery cartridge. The camera and cellular internals are on the top of the camera with batteries in a compartments at the bottom. The camera was still working due to 12v external battery cord being plugged into upper part of the camera and not effected by onboard batteries floating in water. I removed the batteries and cartridge and cleaned/ dried it out with WD40. Cleaned rusted contacts an put back together. Its still working. In June I bought a Moultrie XA7000i. Much better photos, much better app, and its been running since June on the original set of Lithium AA batteries!Read full review

I have three of this cameras, cameras work find, the picture quality I don’t think is 10mp, the app sucks and the customer service is worth than the cable company, supposedly I will reserved a bunch of pics for a month but I’m berely reviving 1-5 pics a day , I have another regular camera on same feeder and I have close to 200 pics on it, if soy point don’t get better I will see so many customers moving out.

First and foremost, the customer service at Spypoint is lousy. Emails not answered, call in service is ignored. I had to plug my phone in because my battery was dying while I was on hold. The camera (Spypoint Link Micro) did take fairly decent photos but I have to go to the camera to retrieve them. I can't access the camera to change ANYTHING without cell service. Not even the date and timestamp. Even if you do get it working, you are imprisoned in their proprietary app. Yea they'll give you a free plan but it'll upload ALL photos taken of birds, bees and leaves falling which gets counted against your plan. It doesn't do video or audio either. This is a major disappointment. I had high hopes of using this camera for game and security at my camp and now I need to get a new one. Most assuredly not a Spypoint mainly because of the customer service.Read full review

Have been using wireless cameras since they first came out. These are small, good quality camera, super easy setup, excellent smartphone app, great battery life, inexpensive plans, very reasonable cost for ANY camera let alone a cellular connected one. Have had Bushnell and Snyper wireless and this one is by far the best. Plans are way cheaper than the those two. We are replacing all we have with Spypoints.

This is an awesome little camera. Small, easy to setup even for an old guy. Got one for wife to see all the wildlife wherever she wants to put it. I have one @ 5 miles from home. Get lots of night time pictures. Daylight pictures are as good as you can get but the night time pictures are disappointing. Does not spook wildlife as they never know it’s there. Greatest thing is it is a great little camera that does a great job for a Great Price! Thank You

I bought it you have to do long format on it and then go to spypoint and do the update to the sd card for camera. Cluster at first then mine wouldn’t work at all. But finally after week got in touch with someone at spypoint waited on hold days from 420 pm until 5 when they close got ahold of them today and there sending me a new one in mail. So we’ll see how this one goes. I have a spypoint link X out now that’s doijg pretty good.

The ability to be able to schedule it being on different periods for the same day seems to be unavailable. In other words for a single day you can only split it up between one time period when its recording and one time period it is not. In other words I don't see how you can schedule it to be on between 9:00 a.m and 10:00 am. every day, on again between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and then off the rest of the day. Maybe I'm missing something. I still recommend.
