    Better value than buying oem and the outrageous shipping

    Better than OEM prices. Ford wanted just as much (after shipping) to just provide the short bolt, The kit included the hold down wedge, the short bolt and the optional longer bolt which I elected to use.

    Exactly like the OEM part.

    This item is pretty much identical to the original part on my truck. If you have to drill out the original bolt (like I did) then the included bolt(s) won't work for you because they are too short to use a nut on the thread end. I used a 1/4-28x2-1/2 with a couple flat washers and a lock washer and it solved the problem nicely.

    Battery Hold Down kit

    I needed the bolt to hold down the block on my 1997 Mustang because of rust and corrosion. The block was exactly the same as the original. I used the extended black painted bolt since the original was black and not cad plated like the short bolt in this kit.
