The Sennheiser HDR line is an excellent add-on to the Sennheiser RS 160 Digital Wireless Headphone System. Up to four individual headphone receivers can be used with each system - perfect for family movie night or for use in waiting rooms.     Good headphones. Demented positioning of on/off button.

    Extremely comfortable for use for long sessions. Excellent sound. But with power on off button located between volume up and volume down button, you WILL turn the sound on and off inadvertently many times when attempting to adjust volume! I ended up re-engineering them, installing and soldering into the circuit a button in a different place, and removing the offending button. This was not trivial, given how these were made, but it made them a lot more useful.

    Could have been but was not...

    Soooo many good things that were ruined by a few bad designs. You have to reconnect the headphones to the transmitter every time you charge them which it turns out is quite often despite the good battery life. The problem is the tiny buttons (and im only 30 with 15/20 vision and the hands of god) are flat and bunched together which makes turning it off more of a gamble. A simple sliding switch would have been perfect because then you would'nt turn them off when trying to change volume or vice versa. Other than that the range is awesome and the sound is flat (though for watching TV a little more bass would be better than a flat response). All in all I would research another pair with better buttons at the very least and maybe ones that do not disconnect everytime you charge them.

    Too soon to tell

    It's too soon to tell. Bought to add a second set of headphones to my existing RS 160 system. So far, I have only charged and paired them, so this review is based on sound, weight, etc. during the pairing process and my existing headphones.

    They work OK for the money.

    I have 3 headphones and 2 transmitters. They work OK for me. Don't bend over or they may fall off your head. I had to put a rubber band around them to keep them on my head. The material deteriorates over time. You can replace the ear pads, but i had to wrap the headband with tape.
