Good replacement for the situation.
I ordered this unit because it was about $30 less than the Jandy model it turned out to work as well as the Jandy one. The big difference are the gears that the motor turns the internal workings do not seem to be as well made as the Jandy but in their defense they work and that to me is the important part of the equation. Had Some Doubts
This item was purchased to replace a Jandy JVA-2440 Valve Actuator damaged during the sub-freezing temperatures. I took a chance on if this is a direct replacement and to my suprise, it fit the 3 way valve body perfectly. The company likely makes the Jandy Valve and places their log on the top. Replacement for Jandy 2440
Can’t find Jandy 2440 Actuator so I decided to try this one out, even if they have different amp. Jandy 2440 has.55 amps while this one has.75amps Works well so far , and no regrets. Replaced old one in no time
Other than having to cut off the plug on the end, was able to quickly replace the old actuator. Took some time to readjust the cams as the old one disintegrated. Directions are pretty good, and reversing the toggle switch did the trick after installing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
