Good Luggage carrier, definitely waterproof, very spacious
Carrier had durable zipper and straps. It was very spacious. It poured rain on us for a couple hours and everything stayed dry. It held on tight for our 18 hour round trip. Just a few problems. It was so big it was difficult for us fill up(recommended on instructions to prevent damage). Heavier items need to go in front to keep wind from getting under it so it was difficult to maintain the aerodynamic shape. It conforms to the shape of you luggage(not structured at all). Finally, we noticed a few small holes rubbed into the bottom after we returned home(though it was an 18 hour round trip and we did not have a roof mat). We will patch the holes and use as long as it'll last. May purchase roof mat for next trip. Overall good price, good quality, car handled fine with it and definitely waterproof.

This Carrier "Works" !!!
Traveled from eastern NC to western MT and this carrier kept everything bone dry !! Be sure to install properly as there is a front and back orientation. I like that there are strap loops on the sides and the front. It comes with 4 straps but i made 4 more so my carrier was fastened down on all 4 sides. I also used "2" rubber mats, 1 on the van roof and 1 i cut to fit inside the carrier so the plastic containers holding my things would not rub and chafe the bottom material of the carrier. Be sure the carrier is stuffed to fill out the shape as to not have loose material to flap in the wind. I read the reviews of others nightmares with rooftop carriers but this one when installed properly "Works" !!!
