Haven't used it yet. It appears to be good quality and the price was very good, about 1/3 of what I had to pay for one locally in an emergency. The can is longer by 3/4" (4.75 over all) than two others I have used. So if space is critical this may be a problem. otherwise it may be a good thing for cooling purposes... I bought it to use next time the temp is up around 95 deg. and the outside fan wont start....

Worked the perfectly.
The capacitor was easy and straight forward to hook up. It kicked the A/C on as soo as the switch was flipped began cooling immediately. It also helped us identify why fairly recent replacement capacitor had failed. The outdoor coil fan spun for only 10 minutes before overheating and stopping. The system was making a lot of noise trying to restart the fan. But capacitor worked flawlessly. It will be ready for business after the fan motor is replaced.

works great... low cost
so far so good... installed quick and easy and seems to work great. I called the parts dealer in town and they wanted $22 dollars for the part and $9 for shipping when this was about 1/3 the cost.

40/5 uF Dual Capacitor
My air conditioner went out. Having a career in electronics, I figured out the problem. The 40/5 uF, 370-440 volt, dual capacitor was blown. Ordered one on EBay and installed. Works like it should. I believe this is a good product, time will tell. I have been helping neighbors with the same problem I had. So far, the capacitors I have ordered have worked. No complaints. I will order again.

I used this capacitor to repair my Frigidaire AC that was tripping the breaker shortly after startup. The price on this capacitor is good compared to my local motor shop that charges about $13. So cheap in fact that it's better to just buy the capacitor than it is to buy a capacitance tester.
