      The battery fits the Zire BUT the leads from the battery are very thin and need to be tinned to properly solder to the Zire circuit board.

      The replacement of the OEM battery in the Palm Zire 31 with the HQRP PDA battery should probably not be attempted by anyone who does not have a good small electronics parts soldering ability. That being said, once installed, the battery seems (after just a couple weeks) to operate properly and has given new life to an old, but treasured, Palm Pilot PDA.
