    Medieval times at its best/worst

    A great example of the dark ages. Rape, pillage, plunder, Kings, knights, maidens in distress, evil lords, wicked church leaders, it has it all. There are characters to hate, yet ones to cheer for too. Ken Follett’s novel is slightly different in storyline, but then what adaptation is ever true to the novel anyway?
