Top notch Mini DV camcorder
The best thing about this one and Canon products in general is the incredible microphones. The sound quality is outstanding. There are two mikes for stereo sound. Well built product stands the test of time!
Considering the age of this product, I believe this camera is an exception to the old saying that "They don't build them like they used to." I have used this camera to just play previously recorded MiniDV tapes. It does an outstanding job! Even with tapes that have known issues with them like video tracking, blocking and audio dropouts. Good quality and value for the money
I bought this used and is in very good shape. I wanted to play my old miniDVs. My 11 year old likes recording things around the house with it. I had the 2003 model, ZR65 MC, but broke down.
