My review of the Hi-Viz Litewave Interchangeable Front Sight For Novak Dovetail 1911 NVLW01
It is made of good quality, easy to install and requires minor fitting. I really like the bigger diameter fiber optic used in this sight that makes it more visible. The package includes one each red, green and white fiber optic inserts and are easy to install, comes pre-cut. HIVIZ sight for Rock Island Armory full-size "Rock".
I bought this for and mounted this on a Rock Island Armory full-size .45 ACP. Despite the RIA pistol having what was claimed to be a Novak dovetail cut, and despite the fact that the dovetail cut angle and width listed for the pistol and the sight matched exactly, a lot of filing was required to fit the sight. I do not see this as the fault of the sight, as Rock Island Armory pistols are known to use off-standard Novak dovetail cuts. I have not had an opportunity to use this in live fire as yet, but sighting the pistol in daylight conditions yielded a very readily visible front sight "dot". The fiberoptic seems to gather light well and the sight seems to be well-made. Time will tell whether it is durable or not.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product for old eyes !
The light tubes are a larger diameter than the one that came on my DW Pointman 9, and the green tube I used is a lot brighter than the DW smaller diameter one , therefor it really improved my shot groups to 3" at 50 ft .
