If you’re building or repairing a desktop PC and need a Z77 motherboard, the MSI Z77 MPOWER may be just what you need. This board is based on the Intel Z77 chipset and uses the LGA1155 socket. It supports all 3rd-gen Intel Core processors, such as the i3, i5, and i7. MSI has configured the board for the ATX form factor. That means it is intended for a full-sized desktop computer, and at 30.5 centimeters by 24.5 centimeters, it offers ample room for internal components.Add those components via seven expansion ports. These motherboards feature three PCIe 3.0 slots at x16 and four PCIe 2.0 slots at x1. A dedicated sound card isn’t required since this mainboard features an onboard audio solution. A Realtek ALC898 chipset is Azalia 1.0-compliant and delivers 8-channel audio with jack sensing. This mainboard also supports discreet graphics. In fact, you can have up to three GPUs due to the NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX technologies. If your CPU has integrated graphics, Lucid Virtu can save power and wear by falling back to that iGPU when demand is low.Main memory is provided via four DDR3 DIMM slots. According to the Intel Z77 specification, this product supports non-ECC, un-buffered dual-channel RAM. Memory will operate between 1066 MHz and 1600 MHz by default. Overclocking is an option, and users can achieve an OC as high as 3000 MHz with an Ivy Bridge processor. For storage, a SATA II controller provides four connections and a SATA III controller provides two. Connect either hard drives or solid-state drives. Using up to all six drives in a RAID 0, 1, 5, or 10 configuration is an option as well.A PCI Express LAN adapter by Realtek is integrated into the motherboard. Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 jack to access 10/100/1000 Fast Ethernet. This product also features an integrated wireless adapter that supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Integrated Bluetooth 3.0+HS lets users connect their computers to a wide range of Bluetooth-capable devices. USB support includes six 3.0 and two 2.0 connections that are accessible from the rear I/O panel. A mid-board connector lets you wire three USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 port. An HDMI port is provided for display output from the iGPU.Control this mainboard with MSI Click BIOS II, which is a UEFI BIOS that provides a consistent graphical user interface inside and outside of Windows. Included software like M-Flash makes it easy to back up and restore your BIOS. Live Update 5 keeps your firmware current and can be used to keep drivers and other software up to date as well.MSI created the Z77 MPOWER motherboard with gaming and performance in mind. One-button overclocking lets you get close to an ideal OC without all that trial and error. The product is also OC-certified, which is an extension of MSI’s Military Class certification. It means that the board has gone through a 24-hour Prime95 burn-in before leaving the factory. It also means that the motherboard features better power stability and enhanced PWM cooling.

    I cannot say enough good things about this seller. Absolutely stellar customer service and integrity.     The device that i bought It is the same unit that was advertised on eBay. The parcel was shipped to me very fast, and also the Sony device was packed very well wrapped and protected with thick foam sheet and air buble plastic sheet ; and the cardboard box has thick walls and is very hard. Even five "FRAGILE" red stickers surrounded the box. That help the device to survive the bad handling during the journey. I'm very Happy with seller. I'll repeat. Thank you.

    Awesome board for serious overclocking.

    If you're looking to push your i7-3770K and/or DDR3 as far as it'll go...this is the motherboard for you. It'll handle whatever you throw at it without even breaking a sweat. If you're not already an MSI fan...you will be after playing with this bad boy. Trust me. ;)
