    Carson MiniBrite 5X pocket magnifier as described. Shipped promptly, delivered on time. The built-in LED light is bright and provides a bluish "daylight" color temperature illumination of the entire visible field of the lens and the acrylic aspheric lens design keeps object clear and in focus from corner to corner. It works fine with three AAA alkaline cells, but I plan to fit it with rechargeable AAA lithium cells to avoid the problem of leakage damaging or destroying the battery contacts.

    Very good quality lighted magnifier.

    I have used this same brand and style of lighted magnifier for many years. I carry it with me all the time. Works great for my coin hobby. Works very well reading smaller print. Very pleased with this product.

    5X Pocket Aspheric Magnifying Glass

    This is a good magnifying glass, but I'm disappointed that it doesn't fold up smaller. It uses 3 AAA batteries which are a pain to buy and not all that necessary. I don't need that kind of light, except in special instances.

    Great design but cheap materials

    This is well designed, but it's not well made. I love the convenience it offers. I can open and close it with one hand, so I don't have to put my book down when I'm using it. On the other hand, it's made with cheap material. The first time I took off the battery cover, it cracked. Now I have the fun task of trying to 3D print a replacement cover.

    Great tool
