      Good Value

Great product for the price. For me the effect did have an impact on the original tone of my guitar signal, fairly subtle but noticeable. I use this pedal primary for 5th & 7th Octaves. I also use it for key changes on the fly. Seems to work fairly well 3 semitones up and semitones down.

      Kinda Okay

I got this pedal for my 12 string electric for my Beatles band since we started tuning down to E flat. The pedal works okay, but has a lot of hiss to it. It also created a "chorus" type sound when engaged, even when you're just using the detune function. I get away with it with the 12 string becasue it has a bit of chorus sound to it to begin with, but I wouldn't use it with a six string unless you don't mind a bit of chorus in your tone. This pedal tends to make things a little muddy too. The other settings don't seem very usabale to me, but I don't play anything that calls for some of these types of effects. Also the harmonizer doesn't have an actual octave setting, it'll do every other interval except the ocatave, seems like an oversight. Anyway, it's a pretty mediocre pedal that ...

    • Nice concept but barely usable

Clever little box, well-constructed. Only one problem - the transposed pitches are out of tune by quite a bit. Less noticable on the tune down options but the tune-up options are all unusable. I expected the synthetic tinny timbre of the transposed note but never expected the pitch issues. Harmony mode where the new note is blended with the original is unmusical and hence unsuseable, particularly since the blend of two notes is not adjustable. For single-note use it's bad, for multiple notes, it's ghastly. The de-tune option (a throbby kind of chorus) does work and I'll probably use the pedal for this only. I tried this with guitar and bass and had equal issues with both. I bought this primarily for the octave-up option so this is not going to find a space on my board. Instead I ...

    • Works great and has many uses.

Great product and works very well in many ways, it’s a lot like the ditch drop whammy but at 1/10 of the price, it works great to have a bass and guitar going at the same time.

    • Affordable and pretty unique...

I mainly purchased this pedal because of the detune feature as it kind of gives it that doubling feel. It does share some things in common with a chorus pedal, but it's different (and apparently hard to explain). If you're looking for an affordable pedal that does something that's uniquely its own, then give this a shot.
