The first Grand Theft Auto game to hit the streets on PSP, Liberty City Stories follows in the tire tracks of the series' 2002 breakthrough hit. As in the PS2's Grand Theft Auto III, the three island boroughs of Liberty City are the setting for this portable game of violence, speed, and free-form criminality. Players take the role of a new character, however; another up-and-coming thug who follows a fresh underworld adventure to infamy, through a series of loosely related missions. Of course, as in the other contemporary GTA games, players are also free to explore the expansive, interactive game world on their own, participating in side-challenges or simply stirring up trouble however they see fit. Sprawling city streets are full of ineffectual police, cash-carrying pedestrians, and cars of a wide variety of fictional makes and models, all there for the taking. Also in line with series tradition, the game's soundtrack comes in the form of satirical radio stations which are available in any car, each featuring a long list of licensed music.

    A strategy game like this is perfect

    In a game system like the psp, with its smaller screen its difficult to evaluate the graphics but here i go anyways. For gameplay and being a strategic game it is an excellent choice with true to the movie events or activities. In the short time i have played this game i have found it to be challenging and well worth the money. If you are a fan of Lord of the Rings and strategy games, then you should be a fan of this game.

    GTA Liberty City Stories - Best PSP game

    This game is just amazing. For those old school gamers like me who was blown away by GTA3 back in 2001, this game is an absolute must have for fans of the series. Tony Cipriani is a great protagonist and the story and gameplay are great. This game does not have helicopters or planes at all but neither did GTA3. It does however include bikes like the sanchez, PCJ-600 and faggio. I reccommend this game to anyone who loved raising hell in Liberty City. The ability to put your own custom soundtrack on the ingame car radio was also an excellent feature!
