    nice collection

    This is a collection of mostly his early stuff. All good movies, but some of the earliest ones are a little grainy, however when you consider the age of the films, it's completely understandable. This came exactly as advertised, we would buy from them again.

    A great after years view of a wonderful actor and his personal world

    I DIDN'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THIS DVD WOULD BE LIKE WHEN I ORDERED, I DID NOT EXPECT IT TO TAKE ME BACK TO MY CHILDHOOD WITH BLACK AND WHITE MOVIES. JOHN WAYNE NEVER DISSAPOINTS WITH HIS CHARACTER OR ROLE. THERE ARE SOME OTHER GREAT ACTORS IN EACH AND EVERY MOVIE. BY THE WAY, THERE ARE FOUR DISCS IN THIS COLLECTION, EACH HAVING A GOODLY NUMBER OF MOVIES. SOME OF THE MOVIES ARE IN TECHNICOLOR. I THINK MY GREATEST PLEASURE WAS THE RENEWAL OF HONEST HERO'S WHO COULD NOT BE CORUPTED ON THE SCREEN AND IN REAL LIFE!.

    The tribute collection

    There are four DVDs in this collection and all star John Wayne. I have watched several of the movies and Maclintock, and The angel and the bad man are the only two I have watched so far but loving John Wayne I will watch them all. The two movies above are fantastic and I watch over and over.( My favorites)
