It does not have the power of a gasoline trimmer but does the job. If you have a city lot it is just fine. It will work on one battery for 15 to 20 minutes. The batteries that come with the trimmer are a better grade than the batteries that come with other WORX products but they are universal and work in any of the WORX 20-V products. I give this product a 8 or 9 out of a ten scale.

works OK but not great
Works OK, but not as well as my electric and gas ones. It's fairly lightweight which is good. It seems to cut pretty unevenly. Each battery lasts about 1/2 hour. and they take 5 hours to charge. Not overly impressed. It seems more like a toy. The good things are that you don't have a cord like an electric one and you don't have to fight starting it like a gas one. I will keep it and use it, but I would never buy another.

Not what I expected.
The design is similar to Black & Decker's LSTE525 20V trimmer, and is very lightweight. Like the B&D, it goes through string very fast, and barely cuts through grass and weeds. The on-demand line feed really only turns the trimmer off to advance the line. That can be done on the B&D and the Worx simply by releasing the On button momentarily. I have a Black and Decker 6.5 electric trimmer that cost half the price, and it is far more powerful than this trimmer. The Black and Decker has the same problem going through line too fast, but is much easier to use.

Worx for me! Great trimmer
Great trimmer. Positioning with wheels for edging makes the job real easy and quick. I was able to trim walkway in minutes in what used to take me hours. Very powerful and batteries last longer than I expected. Very happy with purchase. Interchangeable with my worx spray washer. Looking at worx blower next.

Not a well-made trimmer
Cheap plastic parts. Fell apart within 20 seconds of use. The issue was a screw that could not be tightened all the way (inner threads stripped even before first use?). I thought that perhaps it was designed that way, but no. I wrote to the company via eBay messaging 3 days ago and have received no response. I just called an was on hold for 15 minutes before leaving my phone number for a call back. That was 15 minutes ago. I'm ready to return this and pay more money for a higher quality trimmer.
