I have had to turn the toaster up quite high to get an even toast. If you like very light toast, then I would recommend this toaster. The push down for the bread cage is rather flimsy. I feel that if I push down too firmly that I might snap off the handle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good with a few quirks
All in all, I am happy I bought this. There are just two main things to mention about it: 1. The plug is on the right side of the toaster. This makes it a little awkward to plug in as you need to wrap it around the side and make sure it's tuckedin the back. Wish the plug was in the back or on the bottom and can move the cord. 2. It's not always even when toasting. I can put in a pop tart and one of the lower corners always gets toasted more than the rest.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tried to give one star
One star will not work, the circle keeps going around. It broke after a few uses on one side. It will not stay down and I gave it as a gift to my husband so I am passed the return date. I also don't like not being able to put one star....why offer it?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
