I'm not sure this is actually OEM, it feels a little flimsier than the original (maybe they don't make them like they used to?), but it's got a good connection fit and charges fast. It should last years as long as you don't pull it out using the cord (pull from the hard plastic connector or molded strain relief), or bend the cord near the connector, all of which will break down the casing and expose wires over time. I have the Galaxy S7 and I use this cable with the original charger that the phone came with and I get a full charge (0% to 100%) in 1h 23m.

It's Not Genuine Samsung Micro USB Cable
It works well but it's not genuine Samsung micro USB cable as described. It has poor build quality and too narrow micro USB connector, unlike the original Samsung Galaxy S6 micro USB cable. It's fake.

Charge....
I have been searching for a Real Samsung charging cable for some time. Many of the cables out there while "Claiming" to be Samsung just don't do the job. Too many of them just don't support a good charge rate. Many will not do any beter than 450ma. These cables regularly top 1200ma. typically they will average 800-900ma. Just what I have been searching for :)

Perfect OEM charger cable...
I've purchase a lot of charger cables for my Samsung s6 phone. All of the them did not last that long and the cable charging ends keeps coming off. But, this charger, it is exactly the same cable as my original cable that came with my phone. Perfect! I highly recommend it.

Works perfectly, same as OEM
After my cat chewed up my S7 edge cord, I looked at the tag on it and used the part number to find this. It says it's a cord for the S6 but it was the original cord that came with my S7, so I bought it anyway. Glad I did, it works perfectly and exactly like the OEM original did. Fast Charging works with it and the original wall plug. Very glad I bought a few extra's, always good to have quality cables around.
