Seller Notes: “Ultra RARE 1950's Jumbo 37+mm Everbright S.S. Decagonal "Taubert" Cased West End Direct Read Jump ... “Ultra RARE 1950's Jumbo 37+mm Everbright S.S. Decagonal "Taubert" Cased West End Direct Read Jump Hour watch that runs! The case back is a bit scratched up but a machine polishing should make a pretty significant improvement. The Crown & Stem come out freely and should be looked at. The case back may have a slight mis-thread (not 100% sure) and based on that the back cover has been threaded on only slightly. The back case seems like a "Pressure" back to movement and when it's all put together or pressure applied to back of the movement, movement takes off running quite well as shown in Video. While I cannot confirm # of Jewels, typically a FHF-72 Fontainmelon caliber is 21 Jewels. It will require a rubber gasket and perhaps a plastic movement retaining ring. I would secure a new Crystal for this watch. I recall seeing 2 services given to this watch, last one in 2010. This rarely seen Model would be extremely difficult to locate, if EVER! It warrants a Watchmakers gentle attention!”
