Action-packed and full of life-lessons and magnificent scenery. I could not have asked for more!
This has to be one of the more inspirational movies based on a true story I've watched in years. The acting of Gerard Butler and Jonny Weston was superb, reminding me of the importance of family connections. In addition, the action shots of massive waves (aka "mavericks") and the scenery of the California coastline were tops! Those wave surfers had me sitting on the edge of my seat.
