    Marantz-Clear Audio Turntable looks and sounds great!

    I purchased my Marantz turntable without the original cartridge. I used my existing cartridge and could hear the clarity that the separated motor brings and everything was simple to set up.

    Manufacturer does not honor warranty.

    Came well packed and took some time and patience to set up. I installed and set up the included cartridge properly. Within 30 seconds of playing my first album the sound in the right channel went out. About 10 seconds later there was no sound. The problem was that the diamond stylus tip broke off completely .. Could not even find it. I have contacted the manufacturer three times but they do not answer or address the problem ... I am out of a $900 cartridge! I would not recommend this turntable.

    This turntable package in my opinion may well be the very best buy in audio world period! I was a VPI man had a scout and a classic 3 rosewood, and was use to using a unipivot arm that was way more complex in fine tuning so when i got the marantz i was all hung up on how it was not complex a setup, without fine adjustments and pretty much never having to keep readjusting it over and over to maintain the best sound i mean it was just too darn easy, more of a set and forget for dummies kind of thing, but once you gross adjust the arm it just sounds warm and wonderful, deep rich bass and midrange and treble just sounds right on to me, i have had this thing for almost a year and never once even wanted to fiddle with the original arm set up i made right out the box!     This is a fantastic turntable. It will delight you with its sound quality and design. It is quiet, well built, and a perfect mid entry level, high quality audiophile turntable. The only way to make it better is the quality of stylus you use. The sky is the limit!!!
