A Handsome Piece
I confess to having had a real need for exactly this kind of table to put near my new front door, and so I was delighted when it came and so fully fit the bill. It is relatively simple to assemble, it is made of real wood and the parts fit well together. Understanding the schematic instructions is the most difficult part of assembly but easily overcome by throwing them away and just reasoning it out yourself. As with all these DIY projects a ratcheting driver kit makes things go much quicker than trying to make do with the supplied allen-wrench. Save that for some time when you really need it. The table is just wide enough and deep enough to store whatever you will need to pick up or put on your feet before going outside, such as a pair of boots and a backpack. I feel the quality is excellent. It is solid wood, not a veneer or composite and the stain and finish is really nice. I needed something simple to place under the wall mounted TV. This table was priced very well, but you must assemble at home. However is was simple as there are not many parts. The drawer is a little tricky, but nothing impossible. At the end I was very satisfied with the way it looks and functions. It is sturdy, elegant and well put together....😉
