    Incredible kit!!

    I have been building wood ship models for 30+ years and this kit is excellent in every way. The multiple plan sheets are VERY thorough, detailed and accurate. The instruction manual gives excellent guidance without being burdensome. The wood and metal parts are crisp and precise. Of special note is the etched brass sheet containing the railings and trim surrounding the decks and pilot house. These items are historically accurate based on the photos I have found of the actual steamboat, and they are of extremely high quality. This is a first class, well made kit which should assemble into an incredible model. The people at Model Shipways are to be commended for a great quality, well designed kit!
