    A bit old but still great CPU

    Most users don't need to spend hundreds of dollar on a last generation i5 or i7 to run their applications and games. Buying an used third gen i5 is still one of the best choices for those who still have a LGA 1155 motherboard and want a powerful quad core CPU without having to spend much.

    New Home Theater PC Processor Upgrade!!!

    When I tested out the Intel Core i5 3470, it did okay but it wasn’t powerful enough to upgrade my device’s operating system to Windows 11 Pro because my 2012 Dell Optiplex 3010 was an unsupported device. So I’m going to have to get a stronger CPU and TPM chip just for this specific motherboard to support Windows 11 Pro. But thanks for the feedback.

    Good experience

    Great Chip. Arrived fast and as promised. Works great. It’s not an unlocked chip but that doesn’t keep it from being a good one. I work and game on it and can stream Netflix while I do either without any bottle necks or stutters. I’d recommend it for anyone building on LGA 1155 that doesn’t need the “bleeding” edge and wants performance and reliability.
