    Worked great

    The hardest part was finding the correct cable, I found my cable did not match any numbers I could find, so the picture details told the story. I can now use all the gears in my unit, it worked great.

    Worked Well; Beware of Alternatives

    This one worked perfectly for replacing the original. Beware that there are others out there with different arrangements on either end. Depending on your snow blower, the ends may not fit through the designated holes and/or fit correctly. I ordered one of those on Ebay and had to return it; although the description said it would replace 946-04396A, it didn't.

    replacement oem

    This is an exact replacement for original equipment. The only reason for not giving a "5" is these are flimsy and won't last. I have bought a generic version also for less $ and that was even more flimsy
