      Worth buying

      This is a pretty good kit. This was the only one I knew of which worked for R4 compressors. I just wish it had the puller/installer for the pulley and magnet. This kit removes and installs the clutch only. You will need to use two pry bars for removal and be very careful with a hammer and punch for installation. This kit also includes bearings for installation which individual tools from the parts stores will not.

      Very Light Duty!

      For the average Joe, this toll performed pretty well. It is very light weight and probably as good as Harbor Freight stuff. I stripped the threads on the puller assembly the first use. I confess that my compressor was pretty bad and that it had been exposed to the elements for some time. I would recommend spending a little more and purchasing a heavier duty model!

      Great price but poor quality tool.

      Basically a 1 time use tool. Only used the clutch puller but had to chase the threads on the tool and grind off the end to get it to work. After removing the clutch, the threads in the puller looked to be about shot. Maybe get another use out of it. But it got the job done for $20.

      Take time to check out how to remove the clutch before buying.

      Make sure that your a/c clutch can use this. Mine used a three claw clamp. Yet I know an a/c person that can use this. So I will not return it. Instead I will sell it to my friend.
