Negative output update
I purchased to use as a negative output switch, not positive as they are designed. After carefully placing a thin pick in pivot points, the top of switch comes off. Remove the top to expose the led light underneath. Take the center aluminum post/spring out of the center and set aside. You will see wires for the led, on either side of the switch. Using a pick, pull wires up from both sides. Turn over and pull led out and turn 180 degrees. Put wires back into holes and place the wires back into the grooves. You will have to cut a small length of wire that's on the outside to match the original installation. Put spring assembly back in center and top of switch back on. Make sure center toggle of switch is installed correctly and snap the top back onto switch. Test rocket. Now you have a switch that gold post is for POSITIVE.... center post is for NEGATIVE..... and output is NEGATIVE.... and LED lights when on......

Not remotely waterproof.
These switches are not waterproof. They are not water resistant. Water enters freely around the rocker. Half of the entering water pools around the contacts, and if the switch is horizontal, this water cannot drain out. (!) The other half of the water lands in a little gutter, then out through the drain holes and into whatever lies behind the switch. It is literally the worst possible combination, allowing water to seep behind the panel AND to pool permanently on the electric contacts.

Surprising great value
20 switches that are 20 amp rated, 3/4 hole snap in with three spade terminals on back for easy hook up, lighted color LED indicator in "on" position and quality plastic housing, all for a low price. I used for a low mount rear halogen white light on a Jeep, needed indicator type switch to make sure when lamp was on. Can't beat the price. Only minor comment: Would have been nice to include a plain small paper wiring diagram in bag with switches, I had to double check by going back to website and confirm wiring.

great to have around
I'm always doing diy things and rigging things up on my cars but I always run into the problem of not being able to find a switch when I need one. this 20 pack is great to have and can be used for many things. the different colored lights are nice too incase you need to have multiple switches next to each other you can tell the difference.
Excellent switches even if they are backwards
While the switches are backwards from most automotive switches (the LED lights and the switch is ON in the up position instead of the down position), the switches all tested to be in working order and I suspect they'll work very well. They have a nice click/snap when you turn push them and they're not so easy to push that you'll turn the light on when bumping the switch. That was a problem with the switch I replaced with these. Getting out of the truck, we would accidentally bump the switch and turn the fog lights on, draining the battery. These switches are more difficult to turn on by bumping them. Perfect for us! Excellent price too!
