    Works but poor functional design

    The visual appearance and functionality, as with all of aeotec's products, is very very nice. But I've seen this with Arotec before, their practical design leaves a bit to be desired. The enclosure is not waterproof and if locating outside, it must be installed in a secondary enclosure. The switch's enclosure will not accept conduit clamps, so you will need to use romex or install the unit in a junction box if you plan to use it with individual conductors. If you do use romex, plan to be amazed at how little room there is in the switch to actaully terminate wire. The included rubber grommets are pretty much useless as they deform from the memory of the wire... Also included are crimp style ring terminals; unless you want to save them for a 12volt project, immediately throw them out! ...

    More substantial than expected

    It is larger than it looks in photos. It makes a satisfying clunk when switching. I installed it for a water heater to turn it off during peak pricing hours. The primary weakness is that it failed communicate with the hub when inside the breaker box (it worked fine when the cover was off), so I had to mount it on the wall underneath.
