Good Dies
I've only had 1 set of Lee's not perform as expected, That's why 4 stars... The cartridge was NEW at the time and I believe they were using earlier standards. In one gun (.300WSM) they would work fine, in another they would not chamber though both rounds in factory form, worked fine in both rifles. LEE have been my "go to" dies as a hunter. Personally, I use the FACTORY CRIMP die on most rounds and believe it can affect accuracy! I'll continue to use LEE in my reloading efforts. TR PS: I do not use a progressive press so I have no experience there

Just starting out and/or on a tight budget? Or just need to reload a few rounds?
I have been reloading rifle and pistol calibers for many years. I have used Lee's inexpensive die sets for those calibers that I don't load a lot and which are not going to be used for precision shooting. if you are just starting in reloading, and/or are on a tight budget, these LEE Pacesetter dies can do the job if you do yours.

Good Value die
I had always used other brands of Dies. Bought a few Lee dies for some specific calibers. Well pleased with workmanship and performance of these dies. Also bought the Lee factory crimp die to add to this set. The crimp die works very well on the straight wall cases like this 45-70.

Great product for the money
I've always buy RCBS products because you really can't beat the quality of their pieces. But they usually cost twice as much. If I was doing production runs, I'd buy RCBS, but I only reload one at a time and Lee dies work fine for me.
