To make the children scream, the monsters must enter each child's bedroom through the closet door, then deliver a frightening affront. The only problem is, kids aren't scared anymore. And because of this problem, Monsters, Inc. is in a jam. But when one little girl, Boo (Mary Gibbs), follows Sully through her closet door and into the factory, she brings an even more dire issue to the fore: the monsters are actually terrified of children. From Pixar Animation Studios, MONSTERS, INC. is an exciting adventure with a sweet, happy ending. Both the DVD and VHS releases include the animated short FOR THE BIRDS and a home video exclusive performance of "Put That Thing Back Where It Came From Or So Help Me" created by Mike Wazowski.

    What an awesome DVD movie for children....of any age. Very enjoyable. Expertly crafted and executed. The cast is exceptional as is the direction and plotline. Grandkids will want to view multiple times, so be prepared. I think the grand-parents will enjoy also, so sit down with your grandkids and get immersed in this joyful presentation. The extras in the Collector's Edition will delight all viewers, especially the young ones. 5 Stars!!!!!

    Beautiful and child friendly.

    One of the best movies of it’s time, and I always wanted a first edition dvd copy since I only had it on dvd. It’s in many ways different to what it was on dvd, as the bloopers are not shown during the credits, the short film before the film or the other short film after the credits and kept separately to the second disc. The Spanish version was not included unlike the vhs, but it’s all worth it, because the second disc shows how the film was made and it’s original plans.

    Adorable animation!

    Charming PIXAR for children AND adults. Theme of corporate corruption dealt with in terms children can recognize. Characters are adorable and heroic. I bought it for myself to view after medical procedure required long-term rest. Yes, it's okay for adults to enjoy their inner child!

    Just so damn fun to watch!

    Everything was first rate; characters; plot; jokes. really a sensational movie! The way they moved and interacted with the other characters was remarkable! I'm just about 70 years old but I still like cartoons.
