- o***l (2171)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseLeaving Positive feedback, I paid a lot for this fixture but it doesn’t mount up like it should,compared to the price. The D1-4 spindle/locating angle was not ground into the ID of this backplate. In its design,since it’s adjustable by the adjust-tru design,it fits too tight onto the spindle nose. To the point I have to beat it onto the spindle to make it draw up to the face. Before I could assemble it I had to re-tap/chase all of the treads. I would not purchase this again.
- e***c (510)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseI expected a product with “precision” in its title to be that, but apparent poor manufacturing practices has let the product down. The three 8mm cap screws holding the collet holder onto the body and the three 6 mm cap screws holding the cam lock posts were not cleaned after the thread tapping process. Both sets of tapped holes were contaminated with metal particles. Chasing the threads with 6 and 8 mm taps fixed the problem but it should not happen!
