Almost wonderful
Bought the little refurbished Mac because it has a CD drive. I needed a CD drive to install & use some old software. The Mac was nice enough but after I worked hours on installing my stuff - the battery wasn’t holding its charge. I pulled up the battery status bar and it showed that it needed to be replaced. I guess that a battery is not part of “refurbish” ??? I ended up buying a new battery & installing myself. It was a pain. I could return the Mac but after spending hours on the install.... I just couldn’t do it. I contacted the company thru EBAY about the battery issue ... They reimbursed me for the cost on my replacement battery. 13.3" Macbook Pro mid 2009 A1278.
Came as described, in great shape for a 11 year old computer. Minor scratches on the outside. It does have a little bit of screen burn but thats expected out of a a computer this old. I maxed out the ram at 8Gb's and put in a Samsung 860 SSD. Upgraded it to Catalina and it runs great. Overall very satisfied. (Catalina isn't supported on this Macbook but you can still download it.
