    Liquid Alox Cast Boolit Lube

    I used this product for the first time ever in order to lube some cast lead boolits and was very satisfied with the results. I used an empty clean and dry cool whip container, started with about 2 dozen boolits and a very small amount of the Alox. Swirl around until the boolits are evenly coated, then add some more boolits to the mix and repeat. A little lube goes along way. I set the boolits upright on some wax paper and let the lube dry, it was about a week until I got back to them and they were no longer tacky to the touch. This is an easy product to use, directions are cut and dry, and for the novice like me, additional information can be found on other web sites including castboolits dot com

    Bottle of lube was old and too thick to use.

    I have used this lube in the past and it worked fine. But I had to send this bottle back as it had almost set up, very thick, wouldn't even come out of the bottle. So it looks like one needs to inquire if it is still liquid and fresh before you purchase it.

    I am currently trying this product on my projectiles; will respond if not happy with results.

    This product could foul the bullet seating portion of reloaders, such as the Dillon. The solution, I believe, is to pre-clean the very pointed ends of rounds before seating the lead into the case. This product could cause a build up of by-product built up inside the loading die and cause discrepancies in bullet seating depth. I feel that the dies used during and after use of this product need constant attention and cleaning with a proper solution.

    Works well.

    A little bit "sticky", but easy to use and works well. "Sticky" may linger a little longer because it's pretty warm and humid here this time of year. Good product and does lubricate the bullets easily and well with or without sizing.

    Lee Liquid Alox

    It's an easily applied bullet lubricant for those of us who do not own an all-in-one lubricator. It's clean to use, just pour a little into a container and drop in a few bullets, swirl them around gently then remove and place on a paper towel to dry then reload. It does the job for my 30/30 and that's all I need.
