Does what it's supposed to!
I have arthritic knees so it hurts when I have to do anything on the floor. I've had a pair of knee pads that strap around my knees but it doesn't take long for those to start chafing and hurting. I recently bought a pair of carhartt overalls and came across these pads that slip into the double knee material. Sounded good so I thought I would give them a try. Absolutely the best thing I could have done! Bear in mind I don't work on my knees for a living, so I don't know if they would be comfortable enough for all day work. But for the occasional job around the house, I definitely recommend them!

They wear down over time, but are still a good purchase
I've had these for a little over a year now. I put them in new carhartts at the time of purchase. They have since shrunk quite a bit and are much thinner than they started at. However I work pretty hard with them. The pants have a 2" hole in one knee, and starting to develop a hole in the other. They've been through several tile jobs, and a couple roofs, as well a regular day to day jobs. Without the pads I'm sure the pants would be done by now, but are still going strong. I have just swapped the pads, as they wear unevenly, and still have some better padding on the opposite corners. I'm hoping to get another 6 months or so, and then will probably purchase a new set of pants and pads.

indispensible workwear item
These fit perfectly in Wrangler Rigg's cargo pants, as well as the Duluth Trading pants that have pockets for these. The're too long to fit in the equivalent Carhartt cargo pants.There's a bit of a bulge in the knee area, but it's not too bad. I recommend these pads as standard in any work pants that have compatible knee pockets. They significantly cut down discomfort and fatigue if you're forced to kneel and crouch a lot while working. Anything that reduces mileage on your body is a good thing. Another big bonus: they can be left in when you do laundry, and reused when your pants wear out.

They do what they are suppose to. Save my knees!
They take a little effort to get in the first time trying. They have lasted through two pair of FIRM DUCK DOUBLE-FRONT WORK DUNGAREE'S. I love that they don't need to be removed to wash and dry them. I forget about them until I need to work in a low place. Perfect!

Cheaper in the long run.
There are cheaper knee pads out there for double kneed pants and they are all just that...... cheaper. These are thicker, wider, longer, and washable. If you consider that they will last 2 to 3 times longer than the others then they become much more reasonably priced in the long run.
