Need an Older Infocus Adapter?
Then look no further. It took me some time to figure out that the Older InFocus projectors that many called the "Proprietary" connection is actually an M1-A conection. Be careful - this has thirty pins plus the additional 5 pins (one is flat and wider than the others). This is a nice solid product. It works great. So anyone with the old LP500 series projectors , as well as others, will be a happy camper! Too bad they don't have the M1-A to HDMI adapter.

Great for retro PC gamers
Works great as a replacement for 3dfx Voodoo 3 3500 "octopus" cable. Which, of course, we all hate. The cable is huge and weighs more than the video card itself! This adapter (almost) completely replaces it. Be aware that although some filing is required, as 3dfx chose to use a slightly wider connector back in the day (pins are 100% compatible). As for the "almost" part - the adapter has no video inputs, so you can only connect VGA monitor to your Voodoo 3 3500 with it. "Octopus" still seems to be the only option if you want to use TV tuner functionality of the card.
